Idea to production
After the first year of my studies, I enrolled in the incubator program Summer eXpression, which gives young creatives the chance to take their design from idea to production with mentoring from experienced designers.
With Bockviken I wanted to design a piece of furniture that through its construction and material lets the user define its use. A piece that can follow you through life and adapt itself from home to home with the possibility to live as long as the wall it is hanging on.
Material: anodized aluminium and massive oak
BOCK - bocka - bending metal
VIKEN - vik - small bay
Without hinges, the transition becomes a more tactile experience.
